[Euskal Encounter] Event Coverage

As you know, Blizzard has been present at the 17th edition of the Euskal Encounter , held in Bilbao, from July 23 to 26. And how could it be otherwise, Diablo3-esp, alongside StarCraft-esp, has been around almost the entire event, to cover any kind of news that might arise from Blizzard. Although there was nothing on Diablo III, they had the opportunity to test the latest build of StarCraft, and to participate in some other activity related to World of Warcraft. Then I attached a small guide with general information about the event and the presence of Blizzard, so at least you go quitándoos BlizzCon overalls . What brought Blizzard? Blizzard was present with a small stand, composed of 22 computers: – 14 available for testing the latest build of StarCraft II. – 6 for World of Warcraft tournaments. – 2 private for use by staff. Regarding the staff, a total of 9 people involved, at least, facing the public: – The “RTS Community Manager”, aka Xordiah. – Head of Press, which was relieved within 2 days. – 4 members of Blizzard, 2 Spanish and 2 foreigners. – Camera-man and night elf, aka Tyrande. ? Something new about StarCraft II? The build available for testing was the last, built in April. Anyway, they are building a new one for the BlizzCon. You can find some P & Rs, with questions asked by you, the users, here. And an official video, with the best plans for the stand (if you look you can see the maps available to play, but more fun is that I do not go, and that I spent almost all the way around xDDD, I guess I would record on Friday morning, I was out there but I went through the stand, or something, like just when I Piraeus or I do not know xDDD): There were some tournaments simple, basically, winning 3 games, T-shirt with a “I <3 SC” as a reward. I, the 1st time, well, no comment, but for the 2 nd practiced and everything at home, then devising a strategy. I worked out with the first 2, but the 3rd had to be one of those pro and I burst in 5 minutes. How unfair life is. At least I think I learned to play better, at least to medium. Attesting that the Xel'Naga towers themselves are important and play like StarCraft 1 leaves you at a disadvantage compared to those who play as if the 2. What about WoW? Nothing special, all tournaments life – Arenas 3 vs 3 – “Speed ??raiding” of Stratholme and Azjol-Nerub (winning times were 2:53 and 4:23 respectively) – Leveling up to level 6 (the winning time was 23:59) yes, Awards were not small feat. More than one went with a collector's edition of Wrath of the Lich King and a special pet from Tyrael to Murky. Come on, it was worth a try. Anything else? No, that's all. In general, I think people have taken very good care of Blizzard, and I hope that Blizzard has been able to appreciate it so the repeat next year, perhaps with a little something for Diablo 3 and everything . Come on, it faces of disappointment, few have seen. Well, there is always only-fps goes about it, but anyone who's gotten a little rpg or rts has come to appreciate. Regarding the “profane”, I can say that more than one has been pulled their hair out not knowing their games before, especially compared to SC2. For those who are not fans, I can confirm that the game calls with siren. You just had to see mouths and eyes wide open to know that fame, has deserved. In short, that people will love it. Blizzard has done a good job with the ordinary people. I can only say I hope the same for Diablo 3. Bottom line? Well, it has been for much, really, mostly the chance to try the latest build of StarCraft II. Otherwise, nothing special, at least nothing to the level of BlizzCon or WWI. I get too excited, I think xDDD. Anyway, to test the game and talk to people from Blizzard is priceless . Anyway, as an assistant, I can say that experience has been good, and not only for Blizzard, which incidentally, behaved great with me. From here a greeting and thanks to all, with special reference to Xordiah, for putting up with my nefarious spoken English and to resolve all my doubts and answer all my questions, the press officer, I also stand thing, (the 2 , although the 1 st more xD) and one of the Spanish members in charge of the website, which was also very kind to me. Oh, and the camera-man and elf, who also behaved great . Well that, that social relationships have a 10, and not only with me for being press, if not the rest of all people, who came to ask them things. I knew that Euskal Party is the best LAN party in the world for speed, of course, but had not seen firsthand that can also be carried by 10 environment, and other activities. Come on, if you like computers, video games and technology in general, what you are going to have fun. So at first glance you might think it is limited to go, sit in your hole and downloaded as a Cossack, but the Euskal is more than that. I have it clear: next year I'll be, as another assistant again, no matter if I press it or not, and I invite you to go to rest also, lest ye be bored. And if you get bored, you can always pull the official activities.
